1st Canadian Motor Machine Gun Brigade

Motor Machine Gun Brigades provided mobile machine gun platforms and fast reaction forces for the Canadian Infantry Divisions.

In June, 1918, the Brigade absorbed the personnel of the 17th Canadian Machine Gun Company and 19th Canadian Machine Gun Company.
