TRANSPORTING THE VICKERS MACHINE GUN

The Vickers Machine Gun was a Medium Machine Gun and therefore was not a personal weapon but was crew-served (i.e. more than one person required). As such, it was necessary to be carried to a position by a team or mounted within a vehicle. These pages include the information of these modes of transport.
